The Agriculture Department is providing comprehensive crop advisory services to farmers across Kurnool district to help them improve agricultural productivity and reduce crop losses. Agricultural scientists and extension officers are conducting regular field visits, farmer interaction programs, and awareness camps to offer expert guidance on crop planning, seed selection, fertilizer application, irrigation management, and pest and disease control.
In addition, farmers are receiving timely weather-based advisories and recommendations through Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBKs) and digital platforms, enabling them to make informed decisions during the cropping season. The initiative aims to promote scientific farming practices, improve crop quality, and increase farm incomes. Officials believe that these advisory services will help farmers achieve better yields, adopt sustainable agricultural methods, and strengthen the overall agricultural development of Kurnool district.
