The Jogulamba Navaratri Utsavam is one of the most significant festivals celebrated at the Sri Jogulamba Bala Brahmeswara Swamy Temple in Alampur. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Jogulamba, one of the 18 Maha Shakti Peethas in India, and is regarded as one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for devotees of Goddess Shakti. The festival is observed during Sharannavaratri (September–October) and attracts thousands of pilgrims from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and other parts of the country. The nine-day festival begins with Ankurarpana and Ganapathi Puja, followed by daily rituals such as Kumkum Archana, Navavarana Puja, Chandi Homam, Sahasranama Archana, Suvasini Puja, and Kumari Puja. Each day, the goddess is adorned in a different Alankaram (divine decoration), symbolizing the various forms of Durga Devi. The temple is beautifully decorated with flowers and colorful lights, creating a vibrant spiritual atmosphere. Throughout the celebrations, devotees participate in special darshan, bhajans, Vedic chanting, cultural programs, and annadanam (free community meals). On Vijayadashami (Dasara), the festival concludes with grand rituals and special prayers, symbolizing the victory of good over evil and the divine power of Goddess Jogulamba.

The Ahobilam Brahmotsavam is one of the grandest annual festivals celebrated at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Ahobilam, Andhra Pradesh. Ahobilam is revered as the sacred place where Lord Narasimha, the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, appeared to protect his devotee Prahlada and destroy the demon king Hiranyakashipu. The temple is famous for the Nava Narasimha shrines, each representing a unique form of Lord Narasimha. The festival is celebrated every year during the Hindu month of Phalguna (February–March) and usually lasts for nine to eleven days. Devotees from across India gather to participate in the sacred celebrations and seek the blessings of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha. According to the Pancharatra Agama, Brahmotsavam is believed to have been first performed by Lord Brahma for the welfare and prosperity of humanity. The celebrations begin with Dhwajarohanam (flag hoisting), marking the commencement of the festival. Every day, the deity is taken in magnificent processions on various Vahanas (divine vehicles), accompanied by Vedic chanting, devotional music, and cultural performances. Important rituals include Kalyanotsavam (celestial wedding) of Lord Narasimha and Goddess Lakshmi, Garuda Seva, Rathotsavam (Chariot Festival), Chakra Snanam, and Dwajavarohanam, which marks the conclusion of the festival. A unique tradition of Ahobilam is that Garuda Seva is performed on the final day, unlike many other Vaishnava temples.

Maha Shivaratri is one of the most sacred Hindu festivals celebrated with great devotion at the Sri Yaganti Uma Maheswara Swamy Temple in Yaganti, Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the festival falls during the Hindu month of Phalguna (February–March) and attracts thousands of devotees from across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and other parts of India. It is considered one of the most important annual celebrations at the temple. During Maha Shivaratri, the temple is beautifully decorated with flowers and colorful lights. The celebrations begin with special Abhishekam, Rudrabhishekam, Maha Mangala Harathi, Bilva Archana, and other sacred rituals performed throughout the day and night. Devotees observe fasting, chant “Om Namah Shivaya”, and participate in night-long prayers, believing that worshipping Lord Shiva on this day brings peace, prosperity, and spiritual blessings. A major attraction of the festival is the Kalyanotsavam (celestial wedding ceremony) of Lord Uma Maheswara Swamy and Goddess Parvati, along with grand temple processions, devotional music, Harikathas, bhajans, and cultural performances. The temple witnesses an overwhelming gathering of pilgrims who come to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva and experience the vibrant spiritual atmosphere.

The Sri Raghavendra Swamy Aradhana Mahotsavam is one of the most important religious festivals celebrated at Mantralayam in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh. The festival commemorates the Aradhana (Brindavana Pravesha) of Sri Raghavendra Swamy, the revered 17th-century saint, philosopher, and exponent of Dvaita Vedanta. Devotees believe that Sri Raghavendra Swamy entered Jeeva Samadhi at Mantralayam and continues to bless his devotees from his sacred Brindavan. The festival is observed every year during the Hindu month of Shravana (generally July or August) and lasts for three days, attracting lakhs of devotees from across India. The temple town of Mantralayam becomes a vibrant spiritual center filled with devotional chants, Vedic recitations, and religious activities. During the celebrations, the temple conducts special pujas, Abhishekam, Moola Brindavana Puja, Panchamruta Abhishekam, Homas (sacred fire rituals), Rathotsavam (chariot procession), Bhajans, and religious discourses highlighting the life and teachings of Sri Raghavendra Swamy. Thousands of devotees participate in Annadanam (free community meals) and offer prayers seeking health, prosperity, and spiritual well-being.

The Devaragattu Banni Festival is one of the most unique and traditional festivals of Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh. It is celebrated every year on the night of Vijayadashami (Dasara) at the Sri Mala Malleswara Swamy Temple in Devaragattu, Holagunda Mandal. Thousands of devotees from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka gather to witness and participate in this centuries-old celebration. According to local legend, Lord Mala Malleswara Swamy (Lord Shiva) and Goddess Parvati defeated the demons Mani and Mallasura, who had been troubling saints and villagers in the region. The festival commemorates this victory of good over evil and symbolizes the courage, devotion, and faith of the devotees. The highlight of the festival is the famous Banni Utsavam, a traditional stick-fighting ritual known locally as Karrela Samaram. At midnight, the temple idols are carried in a grand procession from the hilltop temple. Devotees carrying long wooden sticks engage in a symbolic clash as part of the ritual, believing it honors the deity and preserves an ancient tradition. The celebration also includes special pujas, torchlight processions, devotional chants, folk performances, and cultural programs.
